Seminar: On Art and Sculpture From the Perspective of Creation

Is art difficult to understand? What is art? What is not art? Has art got anything to do with science? Does art relate to a divine creator - God? Is there truth in art? And what roles do reason and emotion play during the creation process? How to value an art work?!

A preliminary talk titled “On art and sculpture from the perspective of creation” was delivered by Asia Chan-Rose to a select audience in Taiwan, in June 2023 for Taiwanese art group Trouvé. The talk was given in Chinese, and has now been made available to a wider audience on YouTube.

The seminar was very well received, and many artists said they were inspired by it. Afterwards, Trouvé presented Asia with a memorial plaque in appreciation, as shown below.
